MWE Project 06: 75-Inch Double-Sided Outdoor Signage for a Commercial Street in Mauritius

Standard outdoor display coatings don’t hold up in coastal markets. Within months, rust can form on mounting brackets and enclosure edges, compromising both aesthetics and structural integrity. The client, a long-term repeat customer, had already experienced the cost of corrosion in other projects and made anti-rust protection the top priority for this La Promenade Moka deployment.

Solution MWE

MWE specified AkzoNobel industrial-grade coating for all metal surfaces—a significant upgrade from standard powder coating. Each unit was equipped with an RK3568 Android board (4GB+32GB), 4G module, fan cooling system, and 2500-nit brightness for sunlight readability. Real-time remote monitoring and adjustment were enabled through the OMC platform, allowing the operator to track display health from anywhere.
